This program is a four-bed residential treatment program for women funded by the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC). The home is fully accessible and provides residential support to women with physical, medical, and emotional challenges. Hands-on specialized personal care, including transfers and lifting, are provided. The program utilizes a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) treatment model which focuses on emotion regulation, behavioral stabilization, socialization skills, and life skills development.
Awake overnight counselors provide support to individuals who live in the program.
Candidates must have the ability to remain awake and alert during the overnight shift.
Overnights are responsible for: hygiene (Activities of Daily Living/ADL's - including assisting with hygiene, toileting, transfers, etc.), transportation, medication administration, recreational activities, meal preparation, documentation, and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree in a Social Services related field preferred, and/or experience or internship with adults with intellectual disabilities. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience preferred. Candidate must be at least 21 years of age with a current, valid driver's license and the minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word and be First Aid, CPR and MAP (Medication Administration Program) certified or certifiable.
