The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges.
The Southboro program is a high-intensity residential program that is a comprehensively staffed and supervised apartment-style residence serving men and women with chronic mental health challenges and a history of substance abuse, who have had difficulty adjusting to community living. The program goal is to assist adults in managing their illness, developing independent living skills, and managing their sobriety. The Department of Mental Health refers individuals to the program. The Southboro program uses the Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and Supported Employment treatment models.
Senior residential counselors are responsible for organizing and supervising all scheduled shift activities, supervising staff on shift, maintaining a caseload, and providing support to both the residence and supported housing components. This position has on-call responsibilities.
