This program supports individuals with developmental disabilities and significant medical challenges. Individuals are in residential services, supported housing, or home sharing depending on their needs. The focus of this program is to offer a home to individuals and to avoid nursing home placement. Community inclusion and maintaining relationships with family members and significant others is the primary focus. Individuals are referred by the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
Residential Counselors provide support, guidance, advocacy, case management, and empowerment to the adult women served. This program requires hands-on care with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's).
This program is a female only staffed program.
