This Department of Developmental Disabilities program serves men and women living with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and/or medical issues. Individuals live in homes which are staffed 24 hours a day or in supported housing apartments. The goals of this service are mental health stabilization, decreased hospitalizations, community inclusion, job development, and development and maintenance of social relationships. Individuals may be offered Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Residential Counselors provide support, guidance, advocacy, case management, and empowerment to the adults served in this community residential setting.
