Overview

The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. The Ives Program is a comprehensive staff-secure treatment residence for adolescent males and females referred through the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Children and Families. This program utilizes IMR (Illness Management and Recovery) and Wraparound as the treatment models. The Bridge provides excellent supervision (both individual and group), as well as various trainings in which to obtain CEU’s, and opportunities for advancement. The Bridge is an eligible employer for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program and provides tuition reimbursement for continuing education.

Responsibilities

Awake overnight counselors provide support to individuals at the program.

 

Overnight staff must have the ability to remain awake and alert during the overnight shift.

 

Awake overnight counselors are responsible for providing a safe, secure environment for the individuals we provide services to.  Awake overnight staff complete basic housekeeping needs, filing, medication counts, and administer medications.  Awake overnights need to be alert and able to respond to any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services related field preferred, and/or experience or internship with adolescents.
  • Eligible candidates must be at least 20 years of age with a current, valid driver's license and a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Eligible candidate must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Candidate must be MAP (Medication Administration) and SOLVE (Strategies of Limiting Violent Episodes) certified or certifiable.
