Grove Street is a co-ed specialized residential treatment program serving adolescents referred through the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and The Department of Children and Families (DCF). This program utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Wraparound as the treatment models.
Senior Residential Counselors are responsible for organizing and supervising all scheduled shift activities, supervising staff on shift, maintaining a caseload, and having on-call responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a Social Services related field preferred, plus a minimum of one year’s experience working with adolescents living with serious mental illness. Eligible candidates must be at least 20 years of age with a current, valid driver's license and the minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Eligible candidate must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word. Candidate must be First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration Program (MAP) certified or certifiable.
