The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. The Worcester Staffed Apartment Program serves three women who are supported by the North Central DDS Area Office. The apartment is located in Worcester.


Individuals served are diagnosed with mild intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges. The age range is 21 to 28. The focus is expanding current independent living skills and mental health stabilization. The women enjoy various amounts of independent time both at home and in the community. There is a focus on community inclusion/participation.


The Bridge provides excellent supervision (both individual and group), as well as various trainings in which to obtain CEU’s, and opportunities for advancement. The Bridge is an eligible employer for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program and provides tuition reimbursement for continuing education. 


The Program Manager is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the Staffed Apartment Program. This position provides oversight of the clinical and administrative services for the individuals served, and includes on-call coverage. The ideal candidate is someone who has strong managerial skills.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services related field strongly preferred, plus the minimum of three years experience working with intellectual disabilities, two of which include managerial and supervisory experience.
  • Eligible candidate must be at least 20 years of age with the minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Eligible candidate must demonstrate proficiency with writing skills and Microsoft Word.
  • Eligible candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and be CPR, First Aid, and MAP (Medication Administration Program) certified or certifiable.
