The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. The West Brookfield programs specialize in serving women with intellectual disabilities, as well as mental health challenges. The focus of these services are mental health stabilization and community inclusion, as well as life skills and relationship development. Individuals in these programs are referred by the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
The Bridge provides excellent supervision (both individual and group), as well as various trainings in which to obtain CEU’s, and opportunities for advancement.
Relief workers provide support, guidance, advocacy, and empowerment to the adult women served. Relief workers are responsible for the day to day operations of the program. Responsibilities include providing transportation, meal preparation, medication administration, behavior intervention, basic housekeeping, documentation, recreational activities, and all other duties as assigned by supervisor. These programs may requires hands-on care with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) including personal care and hygiene.
This program is a female only staffed program.
