Program Manager - Northborough Community Residence (NCR)

This residence provides a therapeutic living environment for young men and women between the ages of 18 and 22+ with mental health challenges. The program goal is to help young adults referred by the Department of Mental Health to develop independent living skills, healthy relationships, personal independence, and the skills to manage their illnesses. The program has two on-site clinicians and vocational day programming. Both DBT and IMR are evidence based practices that are used at NCR to help individuals become more self-sufficient. The goal is to teach the skills necessary for the young adults to live independently.


The Program Manager is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the Community Support program. The Program Manager provides oversight of the clinical and administrative services for the individuals served and provides program on-call coverage.


Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service related field strongly preferred, plus a minimum of three years’ experience working with young adults living with serious and persistent mental illness, two of which include supervisory experience. Eligible candidate must be at least 21 years of age with the minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Eligible candidate must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word. Eligible candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and be CPR/First Aid and MAP (Medication Administration Program) certified or certifiable.
