The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. This Department of Mental Health-funded program provides intensive support services to help individuals increase their independence and enhance their daily living skills. The program provides individualized treatment to its participants while assisting them within the community as they transition to less intensive levels of care. The program offers a variety of groups including relapse prevention and Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Peer Support, and Supported Employment.
The Bridge provides excellent supervision (both individual and group), as well as various trainings in which to obtain CEU’s, and opportunities for advancement. The Bridge is an eligible employer for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program and provides tuition reimbursement for continuing education.
Residential Counselors provide support, guidance, advocacy, case management, and empowerment to the adults served in this community residential setting.
