Intensive staff support is available 24 hours a day. The purpose of the program is to help adults manage their illness, develop independent living skills, and live successfully in the community. This program offers Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Peer Support and utilizes Supported Employment and Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) as the treatment models.

The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. The mission of Safe Homes is to create safe and supportive services for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth where they feel supported in all aspects of their identity. Safe Homes is a program designed to support gay, lesbian, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth ages 14-23. Safe Homes hosts a weekly Drop-In Center where LGBTQ youth can receive services from professional and volunteer staff. Much of the Safe Homes programming is led by youth, who help plan and implement the Drop-In Center.

The Bridge of Central Massachusetts is a leader in the state on providing innovative evidence based practice models in the field of mental health.  We are a forward thinking agency who is always on the cutting edge of new clinical practice models.

 

The Bridge offers clinicians full-time salaried positions with a wide range of  benefits including twenty-five paid days off in the first year which increases to thirty-two days off in year two.

Clinicians also receive free CEU trainings through our own recognized Training Institute, weekly clinical supervision, and extensive in-house training from experts in the field of mental health and evidence based practices.  $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions or $500 sign-on bonus for part-time positions.

 

Position specifics:

These unique human service positions offers a clinician the opportunity to support individuals with mental health challenges and/or developmental disabilities in residential settings, supported housing settings, and home based service settings. The Clinician will be trained in and take the lead in providing Innovative Evidence Based Practices (EBPs), including Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), Dialectial Behavioral Therapy(DBT), Wrap around Services, and Recovery Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R.) These positions are located in Northern Worcester County, Worcester, Westboro, and Southboro.  These positions are Monday through Friday with varying hours.  Some positions include on-call rotations.

The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. Bachelor Level training focuses on milieu therapy, skills groups, and introduction to various individuals with mental health challenges and /or developmental disabilities. A minimum of 8 hours per week is expected for undergraduate level placements.

 

In addition, due to the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice models throughout the agency, students wishing to focus on a specific model of treatment are able to do so. TRAINING

The Bridge provides agency orientation, professional development, and advanced clinical trainings. In addition, all students are invited to attend workshops offered by our Training Institute.

 

Students will participate in structured learning activities throughout their placement. They may attend professional development trainings offered to all Bridge employees, as well as Evidence-Based Practice training series.

It will be located in Gardner, Ma. In addition to providing on site mobile respite services, the program will also work with individuals in the community providing short term support services. This residential program provides services to four adults with intellectual disabilities who present with complex mental health and behavioral challenges. The home has a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) milieu where the entire program experiences a DBT culture designed to shape individuals toward increased independence and self-reliance. The goal is to assist the individuals to make progress in the areas of personal safety and gain better control of their emotions and behavior. An on-site day program offers each individual a structured routine of skill building activities. The program manager is also responsible for the oversight of one shared living individual and their provider.
