This structured residence is designed to assist individuals with previous attempts at community living to learn new skills that will help them to be successful in the community and prepare for transition to less restrictive environments. Next Step utilizes Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and Supported Employment as treatment models and offers Peer Support. The Transitions program offers Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Peer Support, and Supported Employment as treatment models.

The program goal is to help young adults referred by the Department of Mental Health to develop independent living skills, healthy relationships, personal independence, and the skills to manage their illnesses.
