The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. This program provides a community residence and rehabilitative services for five men and women living with serious and persistent mental illness. The goal is to assist adults in developing the skills needed for independent living. This program offers Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), Peer Support, and utilizes adventure-based groups and Supported Employment through the on-site day program.

 

The Bridge provides excellent supervision (both individual and group), as well as various trainings in which to obtain CEU’s, and opportunities for advancement. The Bridge is an eligible employer for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program and provides tuition reimbursement for continuing education.

The Northboro Community Residence, Supported Housing and Stepping Out Services will provide 15 young adults (9 Residential beds, 2 supported housing slots and 4 with Stepping Out Services) with an array of out-of-home residential treatment services when needed.  The services provide flexible individualized treatment, rehabilitation, and support/supervision that vary in intensity based upon individual needs.  The service will progress from intensive residential treatment through a transition to a more independent living situation. 

 

The Stepping Out service is designed to promote wellness and recovery through person centered services and supports that enable individuals to live, work and participate in their communities.   These follow up services will include care coordination, outreach, transitional supports and service linkages.

The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. The Southboro program is a high-intensity residential program that is a comprehensively staffed and supervised apartment-style residence serving men and women with chronic mental health challenges and a history of substance abuse, who have had difficulty adjusting to community living. The program goal is to assist adults in managing their illness, developing independent living skills, and managing their sobriety. The Department of Mental Health refers individuals to the program.  The Southboro program uses the Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and Supported Employment treatment models.

This residence provides a therapeutic living environment for young men and women between the ages of 18 and 22+ with mental health challenges. The program goal is to help young adults referred by the Department of Mental Health to develop independent living skills, healthy relationships, personal independence, and the skills to manage their illnesses. The program has two on-site clinicians and vocational day programming. Both DBT and IMR are evidence based practices that are used at NCR to help individuals become more self-sufficient. The goal is to teach the skills necessary for the young adults to live independently.

The Bridge is a human service agency that provides counseling services to people facing challenges. This program provides therapeutic services for young men and women between the ages of 18 and 25 with mental health challenges.  The program is designed to help the young adults referred by the Department of Mental Health develop independent living skills, healthy relationships, personal independence, and the skills to manage their illness. This program offers Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Peer Support and utilizes Supported Employment and Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) as the treatment models. The program also utilizes the Recovery Oriented Cognitive Therapy Model (CT-R) to help staff support the young adults living in this program develop meaningful life goals that align with their treatment. The CT-R model uses interventions such as engagement, guided discovery, and building meaningful activities and relationships to help the individual define what recovery means to them and increase community integration to prepare for independent living.

This position is half-time withina residential treatment program in Gardner Ma. that provides a therapeutic living environment for six men and women living with serious and persistent mental illness. The other part of the position includes providing DBT to the mental health outpatient community. The purpose of the program is to teach, advocate for, and support adults to manage their mental illness.  All individuals are engaged in developing their independent living skills in order to live successfully within the community. The program has 24 hour staffing. This program uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as the primary treatment model and can offer Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), Cognitive Restructuring for PTSD, Supported Employment and Peer Support as supplemental treatments as necessary and appropriate.
